In uniform. Can we except her te wear a uniform to this event going forward or iis it related to her being in the course at the moment?

Carl Philip is a reserve officer and wears uniform at military events, it seems logical that Victoria would also wear an uniform.

The Royal Court about the celebration:
For the first time, the Crown Princess wore a uniform in connection with the Armed Forces' Name Day ceremony. The Crown Princess has recently been promoted to acting sub-lieutenant.
After the congratulations in the courtyard, the Crown Princess received Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Appelgren from the Victoria Battalion (2nd Amphibious Battalion) of the Stockholm Amphibious Regiment to receive a photo album with pictures from the battalion's past year.

I did like it better when it was a family event instead of a military event (on the part of the crown princess).

Do you expect to see Daniel, Estelle and Oscar in future years next to Victoria on the podium again? Or should we expect something similar as with the king's birthday parade where they may attend but only on the balcony - as they are not part of the military.

I loved seeing Victoria take the salute in uniform for the first time…

Though missed seeing the rest of her family there… Estelle and Oscar understandably can’t attend every years because of school, and Daniel was away on other engagements… That’s why i like when 12:th march falls on a saturday or sunday 😄

I don’t know.

I don’t see how anything would prevent them from joining Victoria at the podium… At least after Victoria has taken the salute…

Her name day has always been a military event… That is nothing new… The new thing this year is her uniform

So did I! She looks fantastic.

The Victoria Battalion published photos:
"As tradition dictates, the commander of the Victoria Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Appelgren, was on hand at the Royal Palace to present a photo album from the battalion. Through the album, we show the Crown Princess what her battalion has been up to during the year.
We are proud to bear the Crown Princess's name, and cherish it dearly."
