There is nothing wrong with the dress and earrings but the big necklace is too much (imo)

I love the necklace especially with such a, relatively, simple gown

I am also team necklace. The dress is so classic that the necklace gets to be the statement piece

"Once upon a time, in the depths of the Nordic forest, morning fog surrounded the fir trees with chills, and swarms of flies fluttered towards the enchanting evening, seeking refuge atop furrowed moss hills. Through the trees' thorns and needles towering tall with possession, under the shimmering moon, an ominous presence loomed. She was the Huldra, a guardian in wandering, tip-toeing atop soil beds where the forest creatures lay; she was both beautiful and brutal, like a delicate balance of the wild, luring beings astray. With an enigmatic bond between the ageless whispering woods and the animals there within, the Huldra was the mesmerising and magical force within its nature, and her fierce protection of its duality was as ever-present as the howling wind".-Words by Charlotte Manning regarding What the Wood Whispers Maria Nilsdotte Collection. The necklace is stunning, but it needs to be the centrepiece of any look. The neckline of the gown is suitably simple but the skirt of the gown draws the attention . It’s as if they are competing with each other.
The earrings are also very lovely, but I think they would have more impact if they weren’t overpowered by such an amazing necklace.

The necklace was the centrepiece of this look.
Maria Nilsdotter updated the information about the necklace to her website - it costs 15 550 €.
"As a Made to Order Showpiece from the What the Wood Whispers collection, handmade in Stockholm, The Huldra’s Neckpiece evokes the quiet poetry of the forest at dawn. Branches curl and twist their way up around the neck, as if growing in real time; delicate, untamed, alive. The neckpiece opens with double hinges and wraps around the neck to close. Scattered along the winding silver are small dewdrops, glistening like forest secrets caught in the morning light."
  • Material: 925 Sterling Silver
  • Gemstone: Clear Quartz

"A textbook example of how a piece of jewelry can become the experience of an outfit. Crown Princess Victoria's impressive necklace from Maria Nilsdotter elevates an otherwise subdued, black look with a dramatic silhouette."

The earrings and dress are really lovely but the necklace is too big and adds nothing to the overall look..

Isn't the first time she has worn jewellery from this brand

Part of me likes it as it works for the event and then part of me thinks with the dressthge necklace is fighting it

Yesterday at the festive service on the occasion of Visby Cathedral's 800th anniversary Victoria had her Ebba Brahe Jewelry's Victoria earrings with blue moonstones and black diamonds and Luc of Sweden's horseshoe necklace.

Today while in Gamleby, Crown Princess Victoria wore a set of 3 red enamel stacking rings from Silvio Hidalgo. The rings come from the designer's 2002 Collection and the Crown Princess wore them a few times in 2003 but I do not recall seeing her wear them in the last 15 years.
She also wore her Skultuna earrings and necklace and Edblad bracelet.

On Saturday, the first day of Finnkampen´s 100th anniversary at the Stockholm Stadium, Victoria had her Swedish Flag necklace and nice earrings.
Finnkampen is an athletics match between Sweden and Finland that premiered in 1925.

Today at the Opening of the Riksdag Victoria had her diamond brooch, her diamond and pearl earrings, on her left arm her bracelet and on her right arm her Kreuger Jewellery bracelets.

The diamonds went perfectly with Victoria's outfit and were well chosen.

As patron of the Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign, Victoria wore besides the Pink Ribbon, also the Cancer Society's Pink Bracelet.
She has also her Edblad bangle in gold, Skultuna x Lara Bohinc Together earrings and Skultuna Velo Chaîne Necklace.

The brooch Victoria got from princess Lilian and Victoria's white gold and white diamonds earrings from Engelbert Stockholm.

Victoria is wearing the Baden Fringe Tiara for the Nobel Prize with pearl earrings and a pearl brooch.

Interesting brooch… Has she worn it before ?

The fringe tiara and pearl earrings are beautiful and complements the dress well but they feels like ”we have seen it all before”

It's nice to see Victoria wearing these pearl earrings and pearl and diamond brooch from the family collections. She has had the brooch before, also queen Silvia has worn it and I think Madeleine has had it too. But the brooch is used quite seldom.
Victoria had also a pearl bracelet:

Here is my annual post of Victoria's tiaras at the Nobel Prize.

She has worn the Baden Fringe 8 times, the 4-Button and 6-Button 4 times each, the Cut Steel 3 times, the Connaught twice, and her 18th Birthday Tiara, the Aquamarine Kokoshnik, and the Amethyst tiara once each.

I love the combination of jewels which I think go beautifully with the gown. A great appearance from the Crown Princess.

The Baden Fringe Tiara always suits the Crown Princess and worked nicely with the pearls.

Victoria wears the Connaught Diamond Tiara, dowager Grand duchess Luise of Baden/princess Sibylla's opal brooch, diamond earrings from Queen Josefina's stomacher and a bracelet from the family collections at the King's dinner for the Nobel Laureates.
