The Global Change Award (GCA) is an innovation challenge initiated by H&M Foundation. Our mission is to accelerate early-stage innovation to support the textile industry in halving its greenhouse gas emissions every decade, reaching net-zero by 2050.
The H&M Foundation launched the Global Change Award – called The Nobel Prize of Fashion – as the first innovation challenge of its kind in 2015.
Every year, we back ten brilliant changemakers with a €200,000 grant and support them in turning their bold ideas into impactful innovations through a one-year Changemaker Programme.

It was a day filled with warmth, gratitude and strong emotions.
When Crown Princess Victoria participated in Tobias Day, the fragility and miracle of life were at the center.
Behind the warm smile were gratitude, memories and a personal reminder of how the work of the Tobiasregistry can save lives – like when her beloved aunt, Princess Christina, survived thanks to a transplant.

Victoria has a very busy month… She is also temporary guardian of the realm (acting regent) since november 2… It was meant to be until Sunday but it must have been prolonged for most of next week as well as the King and Queen is going on a state visit to Canada on Tuesday and will hardly have time to go home from Brazil before that…

Svensk Damtidning about Victoria at the Friends of the Museum of Natural History's 100th anniversary celebration:
Victoria praised this year's scholarship recipients and the Association. But then: A charm coup! A proud father took Victoria by storm – with this necklace that had come all the way from Papua New Guinea. The reaction? There was royal jubilation. And then a happy: "Oh, direct import!"
Victoria also got a bunch of books, about everything from the unknown Frescati to the world's famous city parks, and they were the ones that made her start thinking about the Christmas break already: "Christmas is saved!"
Next to her was the chairman of the Friends' association, Keith Rönnberg, he is an unusually familiar face to Victoria: They actually see each other every other day – since Keith is a press photographer by profession.
Victoria was also named as the Friends' association's newest honorary member.

It was raining today at the excursion at Tyresta National Park.
The sky opened up completely – the kind of raw November rain that finds its way inside the collar and makes every tree drip like a leaking gutter.
But Crown Princess Victoria? She smiled. She seemed to be enjoying herself. And she was dressed exactly as only a true outdoor lover could be.

Johannes Bergsten, at the Department of Zoology, for his proposal to conduct an entomological expedition to one of Madagascar's most remote remaining forests.
