I'm not so sure about the skirt with that coat, although I like it in general and Mary looks very elegant, as usual. Her hairstyle is lovely!
 
I love the whole look but the hair is the finishing touch. It is soft and feminine and yet neat and elegant with her delicate earrings completing the picture. It is very evocative of the 1940's, a time when women's femininity was emphasised. It just screams 'I left my hat with my gloves and coat'!
 
Stunning outfit! And that hair is how long brunette hair should be done!

Lovely outfit, I like the colors and the hairstyle. It's nice that Mary from time to time does something with her hair.

mary looks lovely..like the warm lilac/bordeaux colors..and i love her hairstyle..i wish there was a step by step guide on how to get your hair this way.. :)
 
Mary today to three various events wearing a very special blue/white sustainable dress from the Danish designer Pernille Eskildsen, simple black heels and a black cape when she arrived.

Good news first: I absolutely LOVE her hair! She looks so beautiful!
Bad news: I don't like the dress. It fits her perfectly, but no I don't like it at all!

Agree, I don't like this dress at all. The skirt pattern is just not pretty.

I did like the yellow/white patches dress that Kate wore in Australia (I am only referring to the patches not to the style) but this one is just atrocious. One of the ugliest pieces Mary has worn, ever.
It's a shame because I love the hairstyle and Mary herself looks really beautiful.
 
I like the skirt and the blue patch but the top part looks hideous IMO. The cape is lovely and she wears it well. Love the hairstyle and the makeup.
 
I have to say that this is one of the worst looking dresses Mary has worn. Such a shame as her hair is simply gorgeous!!
 
Not really fond of the dress, which according to billedbladet is from Designers Remix. The silhouette is nice, but I feel like the dress just fell short.

Couldn't agree more about the dress. I think it's the worst she has ever worn. But except for that she looks beautiful. I really love her hairstyle.
 
Agree with the group, LOVE the hair, she's so great about so many different styles, the dress is dreadful
 
I really, really love her hair as well and truly hope that she will wear it like that again sometime but that outfit is borderline vile. Not even the cape does it for me and I normally love capes. I think the dress should have been cut mid-in and been turned into a skirt instead.
 
I don't often say this about Mary's outfits, but her dress looked awful. It does make me wonder what she was thinking when she was choosing it. What is going on with the blues and whites? :mellow: Having said that, I love the cape and it makes the outfit look elegant. Like others have said, Mary's hairstyle is lovely.

I love the white dress. Loved it in 2010, love it now. It's so elegant and suitable for the occasion.

Can't say I'm a fan of this dress particularly for a daytime event. It's too sheer even with the cami underneath. Pretty necklace!
 
I am ambivalent about sheer dresses. This one does not look elegant or chic.
 
I think she pulls off the sheer unstructured look quite well.
 
I liked the off white dress but this black outfit is very unflattering.
 
:previous: I agree on the black dress. I think it looks unflattering because of how its see through.
 
I don't think this sheer dress is particularly elegant on Mary. I love the delicate necklace, however.
