Today, March 24, Crown Prince Haakon received representatives of the Expert Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Elections for a briefing on the committee's report:


 
Crown Prince Haakon visited Glomfjord Power Station and Svartisen Power Station as well as Glomfjord Industrial Park in Meløy municipality today, March 26. At Glomfjord Church he attended a concert:





 
Crown Prince Haakon visited Glomfjord to meet the local community and learn more about the plant and the importance of the industry in the region.

Day 2 in Poland today, April 23, and a number of engagements in Warsaw:


A signing ceremony between Norway and Poland on a framework agreement for new cooperation under EEA funds, a visit to a primary school (renovated with EEA funds), a visit to the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, the attendance at a Polish-Norwegian defence seminar, a meeting with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, a ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a reception at the Krasiński Palace hosted by the Norwegian Embassy in Warsaw:

Crown Prince Haakon with the minister of energy Terje Aasland are in Kyiv in Ukraine. the event was not anounced in the calendar for security reasons. They took the night train from the Polish border town of Przemysl to Kyiv in Ukraine. It is a journey that takes 10 hours.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon is visiting Kyiv today. The visit is an expression of the strong and enduring Norwegian support for the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian people
The Crown Prince is accompanied by Energy Minister Terje Aasland.
During the visit to Ukraine, the Crown Prince will meet with Ukrainian authorities and Norwegian partners, as well as visit projects that have received support through the Nansen program.
Earlier this year, a united Storting agreed to increase Norwegian support to Ukraine by 50 billion kroner to a total of 85 billion kroner by 2025 through the Nansen program.
The Nansen program for Ukraine is the largest Norwegian military and civilian support program ever, with a preliminary amount of a total of 205 billion kroner for 2023-2030.

The first item on the program was the memorial Victoryangels for fallen soldiers in Mosjtsjun.To the sound of a snare drum, the crown prince arrived at the memorial and laid down a wreath of remembrance.- It makes an impression to stand here on the battlefield, he said.

This is the first time the Norwegian royal family visits Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.Among other royal visits to Ukraine after the war started, we only find Duchess Sophie, the sister-in-law of British King Charles. She visited the capital in the spring of 2024.

Very interesting that Crown Prince Haakon is visiting Ukraine to show Norway's support for the Ukrainian people and the country's leaders.
