Crown Prince Haakon's Current Events Part 3: February 2019 -

Crown Prince Haakon began a 4-day visit to San Francisco and Seattle today, April 15.


According to the calendar day 1 included a breakfast meeting on green transition, the attendance at
the "Norway and California Business Festival" in San Francisco, a seminar on offshore wind and a seminar on electrification of the ferries.

Tomorrow, April 16 Haakon will visit the University of California, Berkeley, San Francisco, as well as San Quentin Rehabilitation Center, San Francisco and he will attend the Para Ice Hockey match between Norway and Great Britain.

On April 17 Haakon will continue his visit in Seattle and will visit the National Nordic Museum and will attend an American-Norwegian business conference.

On his final day, April 18, a meeting with Governor Jay Inslee is planned, as well as the attendance at an American-Norwegian seminar on space travel, climate and ocean in Seattle.

Crown Prince Haakon laid a wreath on the occasion of the day at the National Veterans Monument in Oslo and attended the memorial and intercession service at Akershus Castle Church.
