  • 80th anniversary of end of WWII, remembrance, Hiroshima visit
  • Climate change, global conflicts, Osaka-Kansai Expo
  • Sad news: Queen Sirikit of Thailand's recent death. He has visited Thailand many times.
  • Japanese Nobel Prize recipients
  • Shohei Ohtani won 4th MVP, Japanese athletes' performances at World Athletics Championship and Deaflympics
  • Although Prince Hisahito became an adult last year, it didn't feel real until seeing his preparations for the Coming-of-Age ceremony
  • Hopes Prince Hisahito to cherish each and every opportunity and approach it carefully when you do attend.
  • Prince Hisahito is having a fulfilling time at university
  • Gratitude for Crown Princess Kiko's support over 35 years of marriage. Besides public duties, she engages in private activities. The couple tend to be physically inactive so they try to walk on weekends.
  • It's been 10 years since Princess Kako became an adult. He knows she's taking requests seriously and working hard. Nothing in particular to say about marriage.
  • Happy and delighted about Mako's first child but also mixed feelings he's an old man. Hopes to see the family if they have a chance to visit Japan.
  • Emperor Emeritus Akihito's heart condition was worrying and relieved that medication is working. They sometimes meet and chat when driving around Akasaka Estate. Parents seem to be doing better now and able to go to retreats.
  • He's pleased the Imperial Household Agency Instagram has expanded to branch families although hopes for more timely updates instead of the current monthly summaries.
  • Challenges of SNS, privacy concerns, and now AI
  • Decreasing Imperial family members and impact to public duties. Probably only option is the scale back events.
