That was the last ever Coronation of a French queen consort , after this they were deemed unlucky as the day after Henri IV was assassinated.
Marie also had to wait 10 years after her wedding and had by then adopted the French spelling of her name Marie de Médicis.

The French Monarchy was bankrupt , the Coronation was a very expensive ceremony.
Henri IV also wanted to wait until his treasury had sufficient funds.
