Death: January 25, 1559.
Throne passed to: Frederik I (his uncle)
Notes:
As he was serving as the viceroy to Norway, he met a woman who would become his mistress, Dyveke, in Bergen.
Remembered as Christian the Tyrant in Sweden, because of his involvement in the Stockholm bloodbath.
The only Danish king to have survived his successors.
Due to an uprising in the nobility he was dethroned and imprisoned.

I think that by the time their descendants would have come to the throne (Christian X) any mental instability inherited from Juana La Loca, might have been pretty diluted genetically.
