Christenings of Children of King Constantine & Queen Anne Marie

Lovely video, a very glamorous christening. Why did King Constantine's mother and sisters bring Pavlos to his christening and hold him during it? Is it tradition?

 I have not information about that, only that was in Rome.

the baptism ceremony of Prince Nikolaos in Rome, was celebrated in St.Andreas church

The godparents of Prince Nikolaos are, His aunt Princess Irene and his second cousins Crown Princess Margareta of Romania and Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia

Does the Royal Family have a traditional dress for babies to wear for their christenings?

It would be hard to find someone with more high-end royal godparents:
- HM Queen Elizabeth II of the UK and her other realms (reigning queen)
- HM Queen Margrethe of Denmark (reigning queen)
- HM King Mihai of Romania (deposed king)
- HRH Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia (pretender to the throne)

I have been reading information about Pavlos and Alexia's baptisms.
They even wore the dress that King Constantine I wore at his baptism.
Did the other children of King Constantine II and his grandchildren also wear this dress for their christenings?

Queen Ann Marie looks so young in the photos from Alexia’s christening, only 19!

I strongly doubt that when they left Greece in emergency... they thought to carry with them the the historical baptism dress...
So Nikolaos, Theodora and Philippos, as they were baptized out of Greece, for sure wore another dress

I wonder if the Royal Family has recovered this dress yet?
I always thought that the Royal Family would have recovered some things after leaving Greece.

Yes apparently they recovered objects, but unclear how many and which.
For instance... Queen Anne-Marie ignored where was her wedding dress, which was found only last year. The acward think is that the Greek State should immediately send her the dress.. but up to now they did not.
It is a private object, her property.. paid by her father, and designed by a Danish designer. Nothing gives the right to be held in Greece.

She opened an event where the dress was on display a year or two ago, so she must not be too angry about it.

Maybe just because she is gentle. Furthermore this dress does belong to her and not to the Greek State.

And I doubt that she opened this event. She might have been present but for sure not to open.
