Charlotte Casiraghi & Family Current Events Part 46: November 2024 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
These are very insightful and honest interviews. I would love to read her book, but unfortunately my French isn't good enough. Hopefully it will be a success, so that there will at least an English version of the book soon.
It's available in English in kindle form as I could choose the French version to purchase :)

Thank you, I looked in Amazon for the english version on kindle, as I read all my books on kindle, but it wasn't available. Maybe only in Great Britain? I have to check this again.

I just read an interview with Charlotte in a very serious French Christian newspaper and it is very interesting. I already knew she was much worthy than it looked when we see her in celebrity/royal magazines. She has brilliantly proven there is something in her.
This is what I commend her for. She’s never really known what to do with her life before or how to expand beyond fashion shows/brands. So much of her life publicly has been out of her control like being known as Grace’s granddaughter & thrust into expectations fashion-wise even though she’s not naturally a model or looks comfortable at times in photoshoots or shows. She only has these jobs because of connections & family royalty. But being an author now & establishing these philosophical meetings are finally something within her control that she’s passionate about, finds purpose in & has incorporated to her reputation. I remember an old Gucci ad she did where she was reading & I think she always wanted to somehow intertwine her love of books with brand work, but the Chanel literary meetings were what she needed & a good starting point along with her previous book to establish a literary reputation. Now she’s felt comfortable enough to launch a website about her book & meetings as a key part of her identity.

I assume that her relationship with Nicolas Mathieu, a writer who earned the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 2018, has given her a lot of self confidence and a will to write what she wanted to write.

I’m in the US but only see the French edition available on kindle. Would love to read an English translation.

I do have the same problem, there is only the French edition on kindle available and even when I searched on the GB version of Amazon I could not find it.

I noticed a translations section on her website that comes up with an error. Maybe they’re planning on releasing an English version through there at some point.

Charlotte about the book, the fêlure (the crack):

A crack is not fixed, it progresses, it influences our gestures, our way of being, of speaking, of relating to others.

The crack isn't just a book
