Allow me to introduce myself, s'il vous plaît. I am newly arrived to this charming forum, though my family's history in Louisiana stretches back to the days of the great Bienville himself.
While the current state of affairs leaves something to be desired (ah, for the days of Emperor Napoleon!), I remain a staunch Bonapartist, believing in order, tradition, and the glory of a strong, centralized state. A society organized along corporatist lines, where each has their place and all contribute to the greater good, c'est magnifique, non?
When not pondering the finer points of history and political philosophy, I find solace in the company of a good bottle of Sauternes. A toast, then, to lively discussions and the pursuit of knowledge! Santé!
