Oh that was short notice, have nothing been heard about this before?
 
It's been known for some weeks, but not the exact dates.

Mathilde also mentioned it in an interview for a German children's TV program, when she visited the Frankfurter Buchmesse: Queen Mathilde: Frankfurter Buchmesse 2017

:previous: I would think it simply a matter of planning. These types of visits are planned months in advance. Its highly likely the invitation was extended by the former president. Though it does come off as odd considering they will be hosted by President Kovind.

Beautiful photos at the Taj Mahal. Hate they are always compared to Diana. Its been an iconic place for photos long before her, even for royals.

Paola may not have sat on the bench but she certainly posed. Lovely old photo of Fabiola and Baudouin there.

No tiaras, but since I was expecting business suits I’m very happy with black tie. From what I can see, I love the Queen’s dress.

This tour appears to be very busy with a good combination of cultural, business and political links. All of the Belgian regions have been represented and it most surely signifies that Little Belgian is punching high as expected for a country at the pumping heart of Europe and all that entails without any former colonial baggage attached to India. The Royal couple are doing a great job it seems!
