Embassy of Taiwan tweets
Archduke Karl held the 750th anniversary of Rudolf I's accession to the throne at Ferstel Palace with 300 guests, including the ambassadors of Ukraine and Taiwan and a former U.S. ambassador.
He gave a speech that was anti-Russian and anti-Putin regime in content, and he discouraged Russia and China.

On the same day, his son, Archduke Ferdinand, competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from Alpine.

Surprising that it is celebrated with a party rather than a mass. It seems not many family members were there.

I did see Archduchess Gabriela and of course Karl and his new partner. They also showed his youngest daughter Goria. The presentor says that she received an Oscar. It was something that had escaped me completey but she was an associate producer of the documentary 'Navalny', which one the Oscar last year.

Does anyone have any information in regards to Archduke Karl of Austria's second marriage? When and where was she born?
You can look up her LinkedIn profile and find links.
And here is some moré information, mainly about her father but she is mentioned and you might be able to find more connections... (its German, but via deepl no problem to translate it)enjoy.

According to the article, Severin Meister, son of Archduchess Gabriella, also attended the event. He seems to be a close friend of his uncle, Archduke Karl, in connection with the Pan-European Union.

By the way, Marengo-san, do you live in Sao Paulo?
If you are interested in racing, remember that Archduke Ferdinand will be racing in São Paulo.
He will be competing in the 6 hours of São Paulo.

Yes I do live there. Thank you for the tip! It seems it is the fist time the race is organised since 2014 and it will be held on the Interagos track in the middle of July.

Ferdinand Habsburg made a post to congratulate his sister, Gloria, who turns 25 today. He mentioned how much she helped him this year after he had an accident.

That is a beautiful Instagram post Ferdinand made on the occasion of Gloria's 25th birthday. What an accomplished young lady already. She is active in helping the underprivileged, a world traveler, and won an Oscar at an age where her contemporaries are just starting their careers. Bravo

And Ferdinand's girlfriend is also in the picture

There was a Family meeting for the 100th birthday of Archduchess Regina at the Veste Heldburg. Also his siblings and many of their descendants where present.

Karl and Ferdinand will celebrate Karl's 64th birthday in Bolivia.

Archduke Karl has held a speech about the future of Europe. He did so as the president of the Austrian Pan-European movement.

Among other things he urges Europe to send more support to Ukraine and adds that it will defend Europe from despotic regimes in moscow, Beijing and Teheran.

He also holds a plea for Europe to be prepared and develop scenarios for the break-up of what he calls 'a crumbling Moscow colonial Empire'. He even shows a map of Russia cut in several states.

Endly He handled as Head of his House and as Archduke Otto 's Heir .

LOL! Reminds me of Confuzius, the Chinese thinker: If you are not with the government, do not govern!

Speaking of Chinese: Siberia would become a part of China in no time, if Mr. funny Habsburg had his way... Could be worse! The successful de-colonization of the Austria-Hungary Empire led not only to an enthusiastic welcome of Hytler in Vienna/Austria but in parts to the second world war too...

As we are only too familiar with the murderous and despotic regime of Moscow we can only hope that the Archduke´s worries about the future will materialise. They have butchered so many Ukrainians, Chechens, Georgians and their own people and given the opportunity they would murder, rape, kidnap and plunder more in the rest of Europe.

The archduke is hardly alone in forseeing this as one of the possible future scenarios and a possible consequence of Russia ruining itself to gain very little. I have read articles by more political thinkers who consider this as one of the possible long/term outcomes of the Russia´s barbaric genocide in Ukraine. His plea to be prepared for all scenarios seems sensible.

His sister Archduchess Gabriella has a special connection to Georgia. She too will know very well the consequences of Russian barbarism in a country.

Yeah, the Archduke is repeating the talking points of Russia's enemies here.

For a family like the Habsburgs, that ruled over such a long time over vast lands in Europe, holding speeches on the level of Western Europe's tabloids is quite a downfall.

I feel very much it started with marrying an Austrian Princess to the adventurer Napoleon. And from there: Way down!

I think it was clear that the monarchy had fallen in 1918 indeed and that the family has been in a relative decline since its hayday with Charles Quint. Still it is Europe's most prestigious dynasty with only the Capetians coming close.

Archduke Karl is not the first Habsburg to warn about the murderers of that are occupying the Kremlin now. His father archduke Otto has spoken about Putin and European security in the early 2000s. Sadly his fears have turned out to be correct.
