Anne in the Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara
Pic

Sadly its almost lost inside Anne's bun , the Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara looked much nicer during the French State Visit when the Princess Royal had her hair styled differently.

One of my least favourite British royal tiaras, and her hair do made it disappear as others mention

If I were advising her, I'd tell her to flip flop the tiaras and where the festoon at the Palace banquets and the pine comb for the Guildhall.

Anne’s appearance made me feel sad.

Yes, sometimes she looks funny, and frequently she looks dowdy, but this suit made her look sort of pitiful, wearing an old, ill-fitted suit, with big buttons and the big collar and ribbons and royal orders making the top half look cluttered.

Like many women her age, her neck is not her best feature. And her jewels seemed rather random. This is what can be described as ‘wacky aunt’ fashion. But I sort of liked the suit- it just didn’t do the wearer any favors.

Her whole look at the Guildhall is much improved. She appears to have forgone both RFOs so it does appear to be up to each family members preference.

I loved her dress and jewels at the Guildhall… It’s refreshing to not only see her in the same white boring dresses at all the galas…

Though i wish she as The King’s only sister and the kingdom’s probably most respected royal of our generation would have access to a couple of more tiaras…

Which of the tiaras would you like to see Princess Anne wear?

I would love to see her wear the double meander again. Wonder why she wore it once and never again
I heard her say in a video clip something like "I have just small tiaras". Wonder if it was for a portrait or something, they wanted her to put on a tiara. So the double meander could likely be among the jewellery we can see on Camilla or Catherine too maybe.

Let's hope that Camilla will surprise us with it sometime.
I think if Anne wanted she certainly could loan a bigger tiara from the Vaults, but probably she doesn't care

We forget that Anne also has the bandeau tiara that belonged to her grandmother, Princess Alice. Haven't seen that one in a good few years.

Would love to see her wear the Belgian Sapphire Tiara paired with her Sapphire/Pearl Choker and Sapphire Brooch. I think it would look really good.

I lament that the Cambridge Sapphire Parure Tiara (original version) has slipped out of the BRF… That tricky tiara would have fitted Anne’s hairstyle perfectly.

I get the feeling that Anne is fully onboard with wearing tiaras occasionally as part of the job, but I don’t think she’s otherwise into jewelry. As long as she wears a tiara when it’s called for I don’t think she’s overly concerned which one she wears.

She is definitely not a fashionista in any way… But considering how few tiara-events the British RF has (for Camilla and Catherine there is also the diplomatic reception but for the others there is really only the incoming state visits left) i see nothing wrong with a bit of variety.

I completely agree! I love it when royal women really get into the jewels that are available to them, especially if it involves pieces that haven’t been seen in years.

I'd like to see her in her wedding tiara - Queen Mary's fringe - again. I would love to see her in the double meander again.

I don't think either is going to happen, both appear to be one-off loans.

In the previous reign! These are new times, however, something tells me Anne isn't the type to go asking her brother and sister-in-law to borrow jewelry unfortunately.

I have always wanted to see the Princess Royal wear the girls of Great Britain tiara!

I think she would do it justice and it would be lovely to see worn by hear after Queen Mary and her mother!

Agree on both points - it is more likely to happen in Charles reign. But also Anne is not at all fussed enough to ask for any loans, tiaras are just uniform to her IMO.

Her brother should offer her one or two

I don't think that Catherine asked to wear one of the biggest tiaras in the collection, one that previously was considered as to only being available for queens. I'm pretty sure that she was offered the oriental circled. Therefore I agree with Stefan that the king should/would offer Anne to wear tiaras from his collection. But I can easily imagine that Princess Anne would shrug it off, saying that she is good with what she has herself.
Also, I think that the RF is implementing the changes in their tiara policy slowly, step by step. So maybe, just maybe, Anne is planned for the next step of this slowly evolving story. Let's hope so!

I much prefer the Festoon Tiara to the Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara ,other than her tiaras the Princess Royal has a fantastic jewel collection.

Me too.
I would love to see her in something worn by the late Queen .

The festoon is my favourite of Anne's (well unless she does still have hold of that Double Meander tiara;) )
