Angela Brown is 11 years older than her husband prince Maximillian of Liecenstein. They look happy each other:)

The head of the girls' physical education department at my old high school is 13 years older than her husband. When I was first there in the fall of 2004, she was 40 and newly pregnant with her first child, a boy. He was born in May of my grade 9 year, three weeks early. One Friday when our regular teacher was out sick, she took us into the weight room and demonstrated something on one of the machines. Needless to say she had the baby over the weekend. She went on to have another boy a few years later.

Where is the thread for “Royal Wives With Younger Husbands”?

Crown Prince Felipe will have 37 on 30th and CP Letizia have 32 years-old.
And yes, King Willem was 41 years-old than his wife, Queen Emma!!!

It was pure necessity for the 62-years old King Willem III of the Netherlands, Grand-Duke of Luxembourg, as he outlived his first spouse Queen Sophie, Princess von Württemberg and all of their children. The Dutch Royal House was on the verge of extinction. So the widowed King searched a new spouse, which he found in the 21-years old Princess Emma von Waldeck und Pyrmont.

It seems as this thread began as "Royal Wives With Younger Husbands", but with time it has changed name to "Age difference between spouses", regardless of who is the older or younger one.

Napoleon Bonaparte was born in 1769, and his first wife Joséphine de Beauharnais was born in 1763, she was 6 years older.
Napoleon's second wife Marie Louise of Austria was born in 1791, and she was 22 years younger.

King Johan III of Sweden was born in 1537, his first wife Princess Katarzyna Jagiellonka of Poland (Katarina Jagellonica in Swedish) was born in 1526, making her 11 years older than him.
Johan's second wife Gunilla Bielke was born in 1568, making her 31 years younger than her husband.

Margareta Valdemarsdotter, later Queen Regnant of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, born Danish princess in 1353, was married in Copenhagen (Denmark) in 1363 to King Håkon IV Magnusson of Norway, born in 1340, him being 13 years older than his bride. Margareta stayed in Copenhagen with her parents until 1366 when she was sent to her husband in Norway.

It really doesn’t matter if they are suited. My mother was born August 1913, my father May 1919. They married in 1942, she passed in 1998 age 84, he in 2003 also age 84. They were very happy together for 55 years. My SIL was a few months older than her late husband, they were together for 48 years.
