The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards had a visit from their Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, the Duke of Kent, today at their base in Scotland. The Duke was given a tour of Leuchars Station, located in Fife, that has been the home base of the regiment since the middle of 2015. The Duke of Kent has been hospitalised with a hip injury, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has confirmed. “I can confirm that the Duke of Kent was admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland for treatment of a hip injury,” the spokesperson said. The Duke was admitted on Sunday. It is believed he suffered a dislocated hip while staying on the Balmoral Estate.
