February 5th, 2018 marked the 200th anniversary of Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte took the Swedish throne as Carl XIV Johan (and the Norwegian throne as Carl III Johan). Princess Christina Awarded First Sophiahemmet University Honorary Doctorate

During the graduation ceremony of the Sophiahemmet at the Stockholm City Hall on Thursday, Princess Christina, Mrs Magnuson was awarded the Sophiahemmet University’s first honorary doctorate. Princess Christina To Undergo Stem Cell Transplant

The Swedish Royal Court has today given an update on the health of Princess Christina: she is to undergo a stem cell transplant to help fight her blood cancer. Princess Christina Diagnosed With Leukaemia

The Swedish Royal Court has announced this morning that Princess Christina, Mrs Magnuson, sister of King Carl XVI Gustaf, has been diagnosed with chronic leukaemia and will undergo treatment this autumn. Princess Christina and her husband, Tord Magnuson, are set to become grandparents later this year. The couple’s youngest son, Victor, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Frida Bergström. Princess Christina’s Jewellery Stolen from Palace Apartment

Princess Christina has been the victim of theft recently, as a number of her jewels were stolen from her apartment at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. The jewels were stolen by a 19-year-old friend of the Princess’s husband, Mr Tord Magnuson, who was being mentored by Magnuson.
