Sweden’s Prince Gabriel Christened at Drottningholm

The youngest member of the Bernadotte clan, Prince Gabriel, was christened today at the Royal Chapel at Drottningholm Palace by Archbishop Emeritus Anders Wejryd, who was assisted by the Chief Court Chaplain, Bishop Johan Dalman, and Pastor of the Royal Court Parish, Michael Bjerkhagen. First Official Photo of Newborn Prince Gabriel Released

The Swedish Royal Court published the first official photo of newborn Prince Gabriel on Tuesday, taken at Villa Solbacken by Prince Carl Philip as the five-day-old slept. Prince Gabriel is the second child of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, and was born last Thursday. His name was announced yesterday, as was the Duchy King Carl XVI Gustaf bestowed upon him – Dalarna.

Sweden’s Newest Prince Named Gabriel
