The Running Princess: Astrid Completes Brussels 20km

Belgium’s Princess Astrid took part in the 38th annual Brussels 20km on Sunday, completing the marathon in 2 hours, 39 minutes and 52 seconds. 40,000 runners took part in this year’s race; which Princess Astrid ran for as an ambassador for the Belgian Paralympic Team. Philippe and Mathilde Visit Hospital, Attend National Memorial for Attack Victims

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the University Hospital in Leuven to meet with victims of Tuesday’s terrorist attack and the doctors who worked to save their lives. The Belgian King and Queen this morning visit the Erasmus Hospital in Anderlecht, where they were given a briefing by medical staff on the conditions and injuries suffered by victims of yesterday’s horrific terrorist attack in the Belgian capital, which killed over 30 people.
