At 3pm today, Prince George, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was christened at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace. The three month old prince wore a replica of the Honiton lace gown made for Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter, Victoria, the Princess Royal, in 1841. Christening of Prince George of Cambridge

It has been announced today that Prince George, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be christened on October 23, 2013. The christening will take place at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will perform the christening. The daughter of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, Princess Estelle, has been christened in a ceremony held at the Palace Chapel of the Royal Palace of Stockholm. Denmark’s Newborn Princess Named Athena

The infant daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie has been named Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie. The names were just announced during her christening at the Møgeltønder Church in Møgeltønder.
