The Dutch Royal Court has announced that Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, the husband of Princess Margriet, has been diagnosed with melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. Princess Beatrice took part in the 5k Lady Garden race which was held in Hyde Park. The 28 year old royal took part in the marathon to raise money for the Silent No More Gynaecological Cancer Fund. Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain officially opened The Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) in Dubai today with senior health officials. Princess Haya who is Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, toured the facility and was briefed about the different areas and medical treatments offered. Princess Haya also stopped by two patients, an adult and a child who are currently undergoing treatment.
