Infanta Cristina and Family, Current Events Part 11: November 2007 - July 2008

Cristina looked beautiful at the Ronald McDonald centre. She keeps getting better and better looks wise. However I'm not such a fan of her scraped back hair in Zaragoza- a bit plain in comparison. :flowers:

Infanta Margarita was born blind, chuchu.

    Your Favourite Royal Family

Spain- Maybe I am bias because they represent my own country. The Netherlands- They are a hard-working, down to earth family and obviously very popular with their people. Belgium- I like the CP couple and their children

    17th Ibero-American Summit in Chile: November 8-10, 2007

 I have a feeling that this will be one of those moments (and phrases), that will go down in history with King Juan Carlos. At the end of the day Chavez looked to be getting on pretty much everyone's nerves and for the King to say something like that publicly, shows how extremely...

Queen Sofia and Dom Pedro Gastao Incident?

Of course  and anyway, if The Queen did say that I don't think that there is anything wrong with it.

Queen Sofia and Dom Pedro Gastao Incident?

I wonder if this is true or not..I mean, to me 'guapa' is a term used by pretty much everyone when they are talking to children. (I know these children are royal children), but it's the norm as far as I'm concerned. :ermm: I guess The Queen has softened over time.. That said, I have assumed...

Queen Sofia and Dom Pedro Gastao Incident?

Who is the man to the right of Queen Sofia in this picture? (from the pre-wedding dinner) ImageShack - Hosting :: 9418usux4.jpg

Queen Sofia and Dom Pedro Gastao Incident?

I don't know a lot about Dom Pedro Gastao, however (and I'm saying this with The Queen being one of my 'favourite' royals), I think she is a person you wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of and I have heard that she has quite the temper, so if he had done something she didn't like before...

Queen Sofia and Dom Pedro Gastao Incident?

I've never heard anything about it either. Where did your friend hear it? I'm not saying it's untrue, I'm just curious.

    Queen Sofia's Spanish

I am in agreement with you, adelaide. Infanta Cristina is very at ease when speaking in public and I've found that when listening to her speeches, she keeps my attention. Cristina has always come across as a very confident woman anyway, so I guess the ability to speak well publically comes...

    Queen Sofia's Spanish

Tan, thanks for the link as I think it's the video I've been looking for for ages. I clicked on 'zur ZDFmediathek' (on the right?) but I can't find the video.

Future and Popularity of the Spanish Monarchy

Like I said the other day, people were fed up of feeling that they could not express themselves. Many of the articles posted say the same thing. Whatever you believe and wherever you stand on this, you can't deny that things are moving fast in Spain right now.

Future and Popularity of the Spanish Monarchy

Perhaps I'm wrong here, but I think that the way the royal family, particularly The King, have been shielded by the media has played one of the major parts in the recent problems. If people had always been able to express themselves and their opinions about what they liked/did not like about the...

Your favourite Royal Couple? Part 2

I already posted here before, but as I've gotten to know more royals my opinions changed. My favourite younger couple is Willem-Alexander and Maxima. They are so happy and comfortable around each other, it's always so nice to see photos of them. :flowers: Regarding the 'older' royals, I like...

Best dressed at 40th birthday of the Prince of Orange

1- Maxima. The colour of her dress was beautiful. Not many could carry it off, but she has the right 'look' and personality for it! I also loved her necklace and hair. 2-Mette Marit. I liked the design and colour, (but not such a fan of the black bow!) 3-Letizia. I liked her dress a lot...

    Summer Holidays in Mallorca: 2007

I don't like my dear Queen's suit (which is my general opinion on her end of summer suits!) I'm not a fan of what Cristina is wearing either, I don't think it flatters her figure very well. Letizia's dress is a little too short, but it does look nice on her IMO.
