It's never been made clear whether or not they dated. I'm guessing that they did since they were both going to university in Boston at the same time. I'm sure they spend a lot of time together there.

She obviously does. I'd read somewhere that she was against smoking. Maybe she used to smoke and she quit. Which leads me to wonder how old this picture of her smoking is.
