My guess is that they are 2+2. Earrings and ring from Balenciaga (with the stones around the sides of the pearls) and the brooch and necklace (with the stones between and more sparse). My guess is that the brooch and necklace might be McQueen since both were introduced together with McQueen...

Really great dress (love the texture) in a fun colour. Very nice. Hope to see it again! The shoes are meh, as they kind of are meant to be. But they were a good choice for the cobblestones.

I can't say I love the dress. But I love that Kate is wearing it! It's fun, it's quirky, it's fashion, it's structural. It's a risk. But a risk based on a very standard Kate silouette! And the styling is traditional, which works very well. I like it!

No, it's new. But she has quite a few different looks with similar silouettes. (Pink McQueen in australia, White short sleeved eyelet version, Georges christening look)

Are we sure they are rubies? My guess is that they might be garnets. Rubies that size is quite large, and I seem to remember garnets having some connection to poland.
