    Royal Ascot 2: 2008-2018

Recycler of clothing not withstanding, I would say Camilla does not choose clothes that in anyway accentuate her frame. The hats for instance are always so over sized to me. especially since she never wears her hair any different. She has modest features and the hat always seems to cover her...

What languages do the British Royals know?

While researching information for George V I learned that he knew no other languages fluently the closest he came to one was German because his father and Grand mother spoke it like natives according to Kaiser Wilhelm II's friend Eulenburg.

The Reported Breakup - April 2007

Not to sound like Gandalf or anything but my instinct says Kate has some part yet to play in the future. I wouldn't rule her out completely. who knows she might be Williams Camilla for all we know.

Run-up to the inquest into Diana's death

As though Al Fayed were not already a laughing stock and subject of virile revulsion in his adopted country of Britian, he is well on his way(if not already) to be the subject of the same all over the world.. talk about notoriety. I wince everytime I read his name in the papers.

The Prince of Wales Current Events 4: January-April 2007

I just wish when he does interfere that the people in his public relations stable would be more wary of his image to the future. I think most of the time his ideas are quite spot on but the way that it his ideas are communicatiated to the public always seems to cast him in a bad light.

That article has a typo or false fact did they not seperate in 2005? The article says 1995.

Did anyone happen to catch the little quib in the article that said the "gift" originally belonged to his mother's estate??? So William paid for a gift for Catherine that was rightly his? who did he buy it from Paul Burrell? this story is apocryphal.

Where Does Everyone See The Monarchy in 50 to 100 Years?

In all of the turmoil that has engulfed the Middle East we should stop to realize that the most stable and politically sound countries in the arab world are the states that have a monarchy. I do not believe that the system of monarchy archane or out of touch with today. On the contrary I believe...

Sarah, Duchess of York Current Events 8: February-May 2007

Have you seen the photo for Harpers Bazaar? If the duchess of york was my mother I would be proud, I don't care what anyone says she looks really good in that picture! Now lets begin the inevitable Fergie backlash....does it ever end? give the woman a break.

Princess Alexandra to Marry Martin Jørgensen: February 7, 2007

Why is everyone so focused on placing blame in a divorce? It is naive at best to think that it was one person or the other, it takes two people to make a marriage work and two to let it fall apart. But that aside I am truly happy for Alexandra and Martin and hope that their relationship brings...

King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie current events 3: Nov 2006 - Oct 2008

To clarify, these items that are being auctioned, they are the property of King Constantine right? They were removed from Tatoi in 1991 after the government allowed him to claim his property?

Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Current Events 19: January-March 2007

I don't think I have ever seen a picture of Charles driving himself! lol I know he is a sports car enthusiast, I just can't ever recall a photo of him driving. They look so completely normal in that photo, which I find is really charming. Thanks for the pic!

Prince William Current Events 12: December 2006-January 2007

When I was in boot camp they only made people who slipped up on something run in their boots! 7 miles in those boots is tough! If he didn't break a sweat he must be in incredible shape.

Kate Middleton Current Events 16: January 5-10, 2007

I have to agree with Mr. Arbiter's statement that the paparazzi have learned nothing from 1997. Could not the police force cite them for loitering or force them to disband outside her house at least? I know she is not entitled to a protection officer but I would think keeping them away from her...

    Victoria, Princess Royal (1840-1901)

From reading Kaiser Wilhelm II biography, Empress Frederick was definitely one to speak her mind, regardless of her children's feelings.

Kate Middleton Current Events 15: December 2006-January 2007

I would most certainly blame the photographer considering he had to be on his knees to take the shot in the first place! Over exaggeration is the tool of a hopelessly untalented writer and god knows the media has more than a few of those on the payroll. btw Kate, you looked fabulous as always!

Prince Andrew, Duke of York Current Events 2: May 2006-March 2007

I am not sure if it shows an enourmous amount of personal humility or a complete and utter lack of judgement when it comes to creating a memorable Christmas card but you have to admire a chap who can honestly look at that picture and say "What a great way to say Happy Christmas!"

Preparations for the 10th Anniversary Concert and Memorial Service

Do you really think that Diana, whatever her faults, would have wanted to abolish her children's birthright? I seriously doubt that she stayed home at nights plotting to make Britain a republic:rolleyes: While some of her actions were extremely ill conceived (The Panorama interview). I think IMO...

Sarah, Duchess of York Current Events 6: September-December 2006

I agree, I am not sure why but it seems they have grown comfortable being unattached. Which of course if that works more power to them!

Sarah, Duchess of York Current Events 6: September-December 2006

Obviously Skydragon believes she is the only one who could know what constitutes a family so I'll just leave it at that. But I think that Sarah and Andrew are role models for families of broken marriages. It is nice to see that their divorce has not diminished how they function as a family
