Crown Princess Mary Promoted to the Rank of Major
The Danish crown princess Mary attended two different events today and was promoted to the rank of Major. This morning the crown princess participated in a board meeting of the Mary Foundation’s. The meeting took place in the Frederik VIII’s Palace which is part of the Amalienborg palace complex in the Danish capital. The foundation, created in 2007, aims to combat social isolation within three different areas, namely loneliness, bullying and domestic violence.
Later in the day the princess attended the May 4th parade of the Home Guard. The parade took place in Copenhagen. While the princess already held the rank of captain since 2019, she was promoted to the rank of Major.
