Swedish Crown Princess Couple’s Official Visit to New Zealand Ends in New Zealand
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel today, Saturday February 18, spent the third and last day of the official visit to New Zealand in Hamilton.
In the morning the Royal Couple paid a visit to SaveBOARD, a recycling factory that with the help of Swedish machinery “recycles packaging and plastic waste to produce interior walls”.
Later the Crown Princess and the Prince visited Hamilton Gardens accompanied by Paula Southgate, mayor of Hamilton. During a tour of the park the Royal Couple visited Maaori productive garden which “showcases traditional practices, materials and ceremonies relating to food production and storage, drawn from the knowledge of local Maaori which has been passed down the generations”.
The official visit ended at the Marphona Dairy Farm, an independent milk company founded in June 2003 that uses Swedish equipment.
