Swedish Crown Princess Couple’s Official Visit to Australia: Day Two

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel started today, Tuesday February 14, the second day of the official visit to Australia at the National Arboretum Canberra for a planting tree ceremony.
The Royal Couple was informed about the arboretum and its botanical collections and then the Crown Princess planted a Scotch pine Pinus sylvestris “Argentea” in the Central Valley.
Afterwards the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel paid a visit to Australian National University where they attend a meeting focused on the climate issue followed by a panel on on electrification and energy security in Sweden and Australia.
In the afternoon the Crown Princess Couple, at the Australian Parliament, met with Pat Conroy, Member for Shortland, Minister for Defence Industry, Minister for International Development & the Pacific and Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism.
At the end of the second day the Royal Couple moved to Sydney, where tomorrow will spend the last day of the official visit.
In the evening they attended a reception held at Government House and hosted by Margaret Beazley, Governor of New South Wales, and her husband Dennis Wilson.
