Royal family at 2019’s Trooping the Colour
On June 8, the Queen was joined by members of her family and extended family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at her annual official birthday celebrations.
The star of the show was arguably one-year-old Prince Louis as he appeared on the balcony for the first time in the arms of his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.
Those in attendance at this year’s Trooping the Colour ceremony aside from the Queen were the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Duke of York and his daughter Princess Beatrice, her sister Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank, the Princess Royal and her husband Tim Lawrence, Peter Phillips and his family, as well as the Dukes of Gloucester and Kent and their families.
This was also the second time the Duchess of Sussex has officially attended the ceremony, where the regimental flag was paraded by the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, followed by a 41 gun-salute.
