Death of Duchess Margarethe of Württemberg

Duchess Margarethe of Württemberg, a first cousin of the former King Simeon of Bulgaria, passed away on June 10.

The Duchess was the eldest daughter of Duke Albrecht Eugen of Württemberg and Princess Nadezhda of Bulgaria, herself the daughter of Ferdinand I of Bulgaria. Margarethe was born in November 1928. She married the Viscount François Luce Bailly de Chevigny in 1970. She had a son in 1962 with Robin Grinnell-Milne de la Lanne-Mirrlees.

Her funeral will be held on Friday in Paris.
