I was wondering, does anyone know if Trooping the Color will be shown in the US? :ermm:

Books on The Duke and Duchess of Windsor

That's right, it was in 1967, an unveiling of a memorial for Queen Mary and it was there that Queen Elizabeth kissed David kindly but chose not to shake hands with Wallis.

Does anyone else think it's fantastic that Wallis opted not to curtsey to the Queen Mother? I just love that.

I agree Skydragon, the media is going to report on the most interesting stories they can find because they want to sell. If they know that the majority of their readers are loyal Diana fans and don't necessarily like Camilla, they are going to feed into that whether it's based on facts or not...

Run-up to the inquest into Diana's death

I agree that the verdict will not change anything. There will always be speculation no matter what. I think that when the world loses an icon suddenly, we automatically have to blame someone. Losing someone so carelessly is unacceptable to some people.

Kate is a public figure now that she dates the prince. In my opinion, she needs security and has done very well with her status. I think she sees herself having a good chance of becoming a Queen of England and wants to make sure she plays the cards right. :ermm:

The Late Princess of Wales' Likes and Dislikes

Thank you Sirhon! I remember reading in a Diana biography (can't remember which one) that she was also into crystals and placed them in her home because she believed they had some sort of calming effect.

The Late Princess of Wales' Likes and Dislikes

When Charles and Diana were at Balmoral (I think) after the wedding, someone asked Diana if she had cooked breakfast and she replied, "I don't eat breakfast." It's funny how people change as they get older, isn't it? Hello, everyone, I'm new to the forum. :flowers:
