I doubt the Duchess of Cambridge has a working knowledge of Italian. 3 months is not enough time to learn a language and not to mention her stay at Italy was such a long time ago that whatever Italian she may have learned she probably forgot about it already.

I think JC would be more appalled at the amount of criticism a young woman (or in this case her granddaughter) faced from random strangers simply because she isn't stick thin. Why shouldn't she wear those shoes? If she wants to, she should feel free to wear high heels even if it made her look as tall or taller than Guillaume. I don't see a reason for women to comply with societal standard that a woman should be shorter than a man.
