Victoria looking lovely in a pink dress at a benefit concert....the only thing I don't like about this look is she seems to be wearing nylons that make her legs seem shiny otherwise great dress :)

I love the color and style of this dress.

It's a great color but always found that the top part had a funny fit, it seems to be looser while the rest of the dress is quite fitted.

The dress is recycled from Svensk Dagbladet´s interview last May.
It´s a beautiful dress and the colour suits Victoria great.

Beautiful dress, very pretty colour. Suits Victoria well.

One of her better outfits/suits IMO but ruined by a huge unflattering belt. Would've been nice if she matched this look with a nice brooch.

I agree. Great shade of blue.
I think she wore it before, but I am not sure. Maybe while in Paris but I think that dress was a darker blue. Or maybe during her engagement days. Well the dress is lovely anyway.

CrownPrincess5 05-18-2011 06:50 PM

I'm getting tired of seeing her in that blue dress.
It's about time she retires it or give it away.

I love the dress but it was matched with a poorly ill-fitted jacket that covered up the top part of the dress. This dress would've looked amazing with a boxy cropped jacket.

dbarn67 05-19-2011 12:24 PM

The color's a bit muted for my taste but I like that Daniel's tie matches her suit. What I really love is the happiness that exudes from both of them...a truly joyful married couple. They both look great.

marymary 05-19-2011 01:31 PM

I like the dress, the jacket is also nice but it does'nt work with the dress IMO.

Southwesterngrad 05-24-2011 01:55 AM

I have to admit that I get tired of seeing Victoria's hair always in a ponytail. However, she spends an awfully lot of time outdoors and the wind would wreck her hair in five minutes if it were down. Also, I strongly suspect that her hair has a lot of natural curl in it--remember the pictures of her when she was young and naturally curly hair is very hard to manage.

Finally, I think another reason she resists layering her hair is probably spelled D-A-N-I-E-L. I'm betting he does not want her to do anything to her hair; and if he doesn't want her to cut her hair, you can bet she is NOT going to cut it.

Hee! True. But at least Victoria's hair isn't stringy and unkempt looking.

CrownPrincess5 05-25-2011 12:43 PM

Love the blue dress.
But I don't know why Victoria thinks her shoes has to match her dress. That matching of the total outfit is so 10 years ago.

Both, extreme heels, platforms & dark nailpolish is straight out of the WAG dressing book. Especially the too tight outfit at the British wedding looked very cheap in that sense. Plus I agree on what you just mentioned, for some reason its popular to wear open toe & pantyhose but it does look horrible.

Humera 05-25-2011 05:11 PM

Love the blue dress on Victoria. I know a lot of her dresses tend to be similar but I don't care, she looks lovely in them.

Not a bad dress but for some reason it doesn't seem to fit her character or style. I could see this dress more on Letizia than Victoria. Quite disappointing she went for a ponytail when she could've done a different style. Ponytails done work for evening looks IMO.

This is one of the ugliest dresses I have ever seen.
A real monstrous silver snake nightmare, with no taste at all. Even the belt is ugly.

altagrace 05-26-2011 08:21 AM

The snakeskin dress: suits her figure and age appropriate BUT too sexy for a daytime "business" meeting, more suitable for an evening in a night club.

sofajr 05-26-2011 10:53 AM

OMG, that is a disaster!
The snakeskin dress is so tacky!
Can stand the shoes with other dresses, but with this dress is just too much.
The belt is out of place.

Boris 05-26-2011 01:07 PM

The last time snake skin was considered 'modern' was ca. 1971, the last time it was considered 'chic' was IMO never, and while the dress might be bearable on the occasion of meeting the President, it's a rather inappropriate choice in all its cocktail hour loudness for visiting the Berlin Holocaust Memorial site.

Well going to a memorial of the Holocaust with this dress, a Big no to her! Well we are now used to her in Escada, Lavin, Alberta Ferreti, Filipa K...but she could care a bit for the ocassion and not so much for the fashion...

IMO an uncharacteristic but big error of judgement on Victoria's part, resulting in her looking quite inappropriate and out of place in this outfit:

Very inappropriate and insensitive to the occasion of visiting the memorial

On another night out on the town it would be okay, leave the belt and shoes home though!

I find her fashion sense of late not appropriate for a Crown Princess. Her
dresses are usually too tight, too short, heels too high and hair a mess.

This Lanvin dress is not tacky, it just doesn't go with Victoria's figure. It would look better on a woman with Letizia's build. I love Victorias figure, I just think she should choose dresses that compliment her curvy body.

Btw, love all of her dresses except snakeskin. She has such a lovely figure and smile, and beautiful energy, she really looks good in anything.

Southwesterngrad 05-26-2011 10:50 PM

This is the first dress she has worn on the trip that I did not like (the snakeskin). I have loved her choices for the rest of the trip. Some of the best fitting and smartest choices for her. I disagree that the blue dress is not appropriate for her style. She's the crown princess of Sweden. She should be every bit as much a trend setter as Letizia, if not more so.

Timmins 05-27-2011 04:16 AM

Bad choice for the memorial visit. I'm surprised that Victoria would make a mistake like this. She strikes me as someone who would be sensitive to situations like this and dress appropriately.

I thought I remembered the red dress. However, she gives it a fresh look by adding the belt. I like it better with the belt. Overall, I thought she looked sensational the whole trip, with the exception of the snakeskin dress, which I did not like at all.

Here are photos from today and some of her previous days' clothing choices.

This dress cost 19.5 euros. If that's as cheap as I think it is, I NEED to be buying my clothes in Sweden!!!
