The clutch is the same too. ;) I like both appearances. Her shoes in the 1st photo are so elegant (I think we've seen them before). I only dislike this clutch. I find it quite ugly actually.

A Balenciaga Clutch. Beautiful!

IMO They can do better than that. I usually like their clothes and accessories a lot.;) We can disagree on this one, of course.:flowers:

4Pam 06-28-2010 06:27 PM

I love the bright blue jacket and the louboutin heels. She looks great. I think she's starting to know what suits her body shape and what complements her skin tone and hair the best.

Opal 06-28-2010 06:52 PM

Clever of Beatrice to take pieces to New York that she can mix and match so she doesn't have to pack as much. ;)

Sereta 06-30-2010 08:43 PM

The high heels espcially show off Beatrice's now slender legs.

PB in yellow looks nice but I don't like the wedges with the dress. PE looks awful.

It's a beautiful yellow colour on Beatrice.
Both girls look like they had a nice time.

First..as anyone who has read my posts know, I am one of the biggest critics of the York princesses in terms of style. They have had some isolated moments when they got mostly everything perfect (usually this means they have a nice, well-fitting coat covering up an otherwise disastrous outfit), but usually they are just wrong on many different levels.

These pics, although still not winning looks, show a dramatic improvement. Both have fairly nice legs (but they both still need to learn that a hem too short can make them look too heavy). Beatrice, whether through aging or diet has a slimmer overall figure, and luckily she isn't wearing anything clinging to her lower body, which really lacks a torso and has a huge pear shape. This actually looks good on her, and I agree, the yellow does look good.

Eugenie is still trying to cram chubby/plump/whatever into too tight of an outfit which is also too short. And, although it luckily isn't tight at the bottom, it makes her look bigger than she is. In addition, that little bit of plumpness makes her round face and awful haircut LOOK HUGE. In the first picture, she looks like Shrek. I think she can be much more attractive, but if Beatrice is any indicator of timeframe, we won't see a nice-looking Eugenie for another two to three years.

Katrianna 07-02-2010 01:02 AM

I don't like either outfit on the Princesses. This was a fashion bomb for both.

Lumutqueen 07-02-2010 05:44 AM

I love Eugenie's white dress, but I don't think yellow suits Beatrice.

stephanievl 07-02-2010 06:26 AM

Lovely summer dresses on both!

NoorMeansLight 07-02-2010 07:38 AM

Come on, this white baby-doll dress isn't for Eugenie! And not only because it's too short... Oh my, what was she thinking?! On the other hand, Beatrice's yellow dress is very pretty and suits her a lot now that she lost some weight. She looks really good IMO. I don't like their shoes this time.

fandesacs2003 07-02-2010 07:43 AM

The yellow is quite nice. She is on a good way for style. But the white one for her is a nightmare!!!!!!!!! My God! who is selling theses dresses to this girl! the seller should be executed!

Sereta 07-02-2010 06:42 PM

The York girls look okay. The dresses are a bit short for Princesses. Beatrice has such pretty long hair.

4Pam 07-02-2010 10:41 PM

Love the yellow on Bea! And her shoes too. As for Eugenie's outfit it's ok... Nothing bad or great about it.

Princess Beatrice in St. Tropez
Flower dress I have to say I find this dress a bit odd. Doesn't suit her much.
White dress 1
White dress 2 I just love those two dresses on her although the second one seems to be a bit transparent.

Wisteria 07-11-2010 01:36 PM

I liked her best in the third dress but she could definitely wear her skirts a bit longer, it would be an enormous improvement. Her mother makes the same mistake but of course at Beatrice´s age is not so much of a fashion faux pas, but it would be nice to see her wear longer skirts.
In today´s mail they had a photo of her in a bikini and she is looking in very good shape indeed quite the best I have ever seen her.

4Pam 07-11-2010 01:51 PM

Love the 2nd and 3rd dresses. The first dress is pretty but not a fan of the color

Opal 07-11-2010 04:28 PM

The third dress is nice! A really stylish summer dress.

blujean 07-11-2010 06:59 PM

The1st dress is awful for her body type.
The 2nd one is too low cut
I only like the 3rd one.

I believe she tries to make the best out of it at the moment.
Her latest choices are surprisingly okay - the flower dress just isn't that flattering for her hips. The first white dress isn't flattering for her bust - so, there's still something to learn. But the second white dress looks absolutely nice, for her age and it isn't even too short. Beatrice indeed is in a good shape at the moment.

Lumutqueen 07-12-2010 06:09 AM

I love all three dresses, but I prefer the two white ones.

Melibea 07-12-2010 09:20 AM

I really like the third one, but the other two are also ok

stephanievl 07-12-2010 10:08 AM

Love the thrird one
The first looks horrible!!

Melibea 07-12-2010 10:14 AM

^^
Bu for the beach is not so bad...

NoorMeansLight 07-12-2010 12:08 PM

The 3rd dress is the most beautiful and quite classy IMO. I dislike the first floral one - it would look awful on any woman. ;)

Sereta 07-12-2010 08:05 PM

I agree the 3rd is the best one, but they are all fine for the beach.

Good to see that there is a consensus here about the 3rd dress - probably one of the best dresses I have seen on B on date!

Good point Noor! It probably wouldn't be flattering to anyone's figure.

4Pam 07-23-2010 05:59 PM

They look very nice. Very business-like outfits for a holiday trip with the Queen.

Dierna23 07-23-2010 07:47 PM

Though Beatrice looks like a stewardess I quite like her outfit. Eugenie's favorite color at the moment is black, huh? ;)

CrownPrincess5 07-23-2010 08:45 PM

Beatrice does look like a stewardess.
The outfits are really bland. I guess they're supposed to be that way.

Here they are, maybe the most beautiful princesses in the world. I can assure you Their Highnesses know about fashion better than anyone. They love to give a modern twist to their outfits. They look so fresh and young, simply wonderful!:flowers:

Beatrice disembarking, you can just see her on the right.

Wisteria 08-02-2010 10:26 AM

They both look much improved, especially Beatrice but I wish they would wear even slightly longer skirts. I can only suppose that their mother thinks they look great.

Nadine 08-02-2010 11:43 AM

How lovely to see all the family together. :)

Prince Andrew has two very attractive young ladies on his hands, but I confess thus far Princess Beatrice is the one that sticks out for me with her mother's gorgeous thick rich red Pre-Raphaelite style hair, big blue eyes the color of the ocean, porcelain complexion (when she's not getting a tan), and her father's very fine aristocratic featues. Her younger sister is lovely as well, taking after her mother in looks but having her father's coloring. Leastways, that's the way I view these two.

I look forward to seeing how they handle their station in life, and what they do with it, especially after graduation and beyond. Right now they add that youthful colorful spark, especially when it comes to fashion. :flowers:

I like Eugenie's grey dress. It's nice.

Dierna23 08-03-2010 07:31 AM

The dress could be a bit longer, but so far one of her better outfits. Actually she looks nice!

mrswhitham 08-03-2010 10:27 AM

Why do they think they must top every outfit with a jacket?

Eugenie was in Pink and Black.
Just follow me, girls. It¿s Fergie and the fascinators as the Duchess of York enjoys a family wedding with Beatrice and Eugenie | Mail Online

Elly C 08-29-2010 05:17 AM

Fascinator overkill ?- the daughters look okay but I'm not a fan of Sarah's ensemble.

Dierna23 08-29-2010 08:47 AM

I'm not keen on Beatrice's outfit that she has worn to this years Trooping The Color. But compared to her mother's fashion disaster it's totally decent. ;) Her hair looks messy, though.
I like Eugenie's outfit, I believe she wore it to Ascot, right? Love her in pink.

Zonk 08-29-2010 08:48 AM

Can I just say that I am NO fan of the fascinator. Whenever the Yorks wear these they totally distract from the dress.

Dierna23 08-29-2010 08:50 AM

I agree, Zonk. I like fascinators, but both Eugenie & Beatrice don't seem to be able to use them in a flattering way.

Opal 08-29-2010 08:21 PM

I'm not keen on fascinators in general. I prefer a good ole hat any day over a fascinator.
A hat just looks better imo.

NoorMeansLight 08-30-2010 09:49 AM

I like Beatrice's outfit, even the fascinator, a lot and I'm glad she recycled it! I can't see Eugenie here. Fuchsia suits her and the shoes are elegant, but her fascinator looks weird. Wish we could have better photos!

Zonk 08-30-2010 05:28 PM

Fascinator aside...I love the dresses that both York girls wore. I just wish Beatrice would have worn different shoes. Her sandals look to casual.

Sereta 08-31-2010 08:34 PM

Both girls looks nice.

Sereta 09-01-2010 08:22 PM

They both picked colours that suit them even if they are recycled.
I tend to favour Eugenie's outfit.

I love the color of her dress! I don't care for the style of the belt, it looks sloppy with it.

4Pam 09-30-2010 08:21 PM

Great color but the cut and style doesn't suit her at all. It looks like a night dress almost.

Opal 10-04-2010 09:00 PM

Pretty colour indeed! Her shoes are nice as well.

Beatrice yesterday at a charity event

-1-

I don't like the golden skirt. Not because of the colour, because it just looks a bit strange. Pumps would have looked better than these boots.

NoorMeansLight 12-07-2010 08:26 AM

It's not a bad outfit. Gold is very hot at this time of the year, I think she just needed to upgrade that outfit with something more sophisticated. I agree that the boots are off.

Lumutqueen 12-07-2010 10:01 AM

I like the outfit, but it would have looked better without the scarf thing.
The jacket she wears on the way out wasn't very fashionable, but probably warm.

auntie 12-22-2010 04:29 PM

Eugiene reminds me of monica lewinsky!

Dierna23 12-22-2010 04:33 PM

Beatrice doesn't look that bad, it's just black. But Eugenie. I don't like anything about this outfit - clunky boots, way way way too short skirt and that jacket? I also dislike her hair and make up. She's much too boyish.

NoorMeansLight 12-22-2010 05:30 PM

I agree with all of you. Beatrice's outfit is ok, nothing spectacular but at least it's decent. Eugenie on the other hand has worn a skirt that wasn't made for her.

Britters 12-22-2010 05:50 PM

Not the greatest look for Eugenie. Maybe the "dress" looks better without the WAY too big jacket?

I do like that they were all out together. Nice to see the cousins hang out when they can outside family gatherings.

Not to mention a cape that was almost longer than her skirt

They would look so much better if someone would tell them how to dress to suit their body types. They constantly wear things that make them look bigger, wider or unfortunately way to well...I think you get the picture.

I am not saying they have to look like nuns. They just need to know how to look right for the occasion. They certainly spend a lot of money on the clothes they wear: Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen, etc. Perhaps they could redirect that money to a stylist.

princess carmen 12-23-2010 09:20 AM

I think they need time to find their own style and grow up their young.

agami.pearl 12-26-2010 07:56 AM

I prefer Eugenie's outfit, she is wearing more colors and the coat is better fitting that Bea's.

NoorMeansLight 12-26-2010 09:48 AM

Both girls look lovely. I like Eugenie's coat and hat better this time.

Dierna23 12-26-2010 10:58 AM

I don't like Beatrice's outfit. It's too dark, the hat isn't very pretty and the coat is too loose, I don't like the sleeves in particular. Not sophisticated at all, JMO. Eugenie is trying and it works for her - the blue coat looks quite pretty on her, the hat is okay; the furry scarf and the gloves are a nice addition.

Cinderella5x 12-26-2010 03:29 PM

I don't like either one, both look kind of sloppy.

udyusa 12-26-2010 04:52 PM

I will have to agree with you on this, Cinderella. Neither one of the choices of outfits is smart or chic-looking, imo. Bea's boots are dusty looking and her coat is unattractive. Her hat just looks silly this time of the year. As for Eug, she has way too much going on.
