Do they have special schools for immigrants in Sweden?

We have a few school for immigrants but most immigrants goes in normal school in Sweden. We have a French and English school in Stockholm at least I think they lying there. I´m not so familiar with these schools. I haven´t heard much about them. But many ambassadours kids goes in these kind of schools I think.

Queen Silvia stands in a window of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Thursday Dec. 13 2007. The window was opened to represent the 13:th day of the real life Advent calendar, a tradition in the Old Town where the Palace is situated. The Queen welcomed the people who had gathered in front of the Palace and as the 13:th of December is the Lucia day in Sweden the Lucia Jeanette Köhn and a trio sang Christmas carols.

Here´s a little article from Jukkasjärvi: Kungen och Drottningen i Jukkasjärvi/Sveriges Radio The article says that yesterday evening there was a big birthday party at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi. There were fireworks, dinner at a big ice hall, minus 5 grades Celcius and 400 guests to celebrate Carl von Linné, there has gone 300 years about his birth 1707. This was a closing to the Year of Linne. Among the guests there were some Nobel Laureates of this year, and also the King and Queen Silvia. |

I think it is a pitty that we see only few number of pictures of the swedish royal family! Maybe it'll change when the royal siblings get married! The brides name was Annika, but I'm pretty sure the flower girl from Silvias wedding was called Amelie, which is also one of Princess Madeleine's middle names. I thought maybe this friend of the Queen has more children? The article didn't state anything about brothers and sisters of the bride.
My mother has a book about Queen Silvia from the early eighties with several pictures of the wedding, and this flower girl is called Amelie several times in the text. I've always wondered who she is, since the other children are all nephews and nieces of the King and Queen, but now I might have an answer!! |

Queen Silvia was in a concert last night with her friends and after the concert the ladies went to Teatergrillen. No official engagements at all.
None until August 12, afterwards the attendance at the Bejing Olympics from the 15th to the 25th, so the official reason given for the cancellation is wrong. A bit weird indeed, as the King especially always highly enjoyed the oldtimer car race. My guess is that they aren't on Öland or in Sweden currently, but on a holiday trip to an undisclosed destination. |

But the race is certainly planed long time before. It must be a very important date of the royal couple yesterday, that canceled they attendance by Kungsrallye and therefore is canceled the race total! |

Yep, Josephine Génetay is Silvia’s goddaughter and a close friend of Princess Madeleine. But an advance wedding party would surely have been in the evening anyway? Seems to be something of a mystery why the King doesn’t shup for his King’s Rally and caused its cancellation.
As for the King & Queen tying up the Wrestling, tee-hee… for my part, I hope that Victoria might still get a bigger fish to fry. |

I doubt this is the reason. This confirmation date is set long before the summer - more likely during the winter months. The Kungsrallyt could easily have been re-scheduled long ago.
