I thought I might as well start the first discussion: why do you admire the Prince?

He's overcome his mistakes; inclusive - crosses age ranges, religion, race, colour, gender etc.; great father; made a real difference to people's lives. the work for the Princes Trust is taken for granted now because it's c. 4o years old but it was the first of its kind.

How many people get to meet the Dalai Lama, Aung San Suu Kyi and Will.i.am in 48 hours. And the promise of £500k for his charities from the latter. Charles is unique and will make a great king.

You know,there are so many things, I doubt I can list them all. To me he just seems like someone who really cares. He's taken his position and really uses it to make a difference.

I just like him for trying to make a difference and to do something real and useful.

I agree with all of you; from where I stand, he has really used his influence to make positive changes. But, at least for me, what I really admire about the Prince is that he has always stood by his opinions, whether popular or not at the moment.

For his ecological teachings and examples in my country

I really admire the way he stays true to his beliefs and laughed when his earlier "bizarre" stands became mainstream and, he didn't even gloat. I love his sense of humour, I mean who can't laugh at a man who when challenged during his early organic trends said of course he talks to his cabbages!

I admire his tireless work from the Princess Trust through to The Princes Foundation for Building Community. He just never stops, always interested, concerned, advocating and willing to say "Here I Stand". Too many public people equivocate and shift with the tide of fashion and political correctness. I love that my future King has steel in his spine and absolute integrity.

He has been a true leader all his life. He has known that he really has no official role or job until his mother dies and yet he still decided to make a difference in the lives of ordinary people.

I think he has been a great PoW and will be a wonderful King.

I like the way he uses his power and position.
He's very well read, highly intelligent and has the most wonderful, dry sense of humor.
I also like the way he raised his sons, as a single father. He carried himself with dignity and poise, throughout all scandals around his marriage and affair with Camilla.
He is thrifty and careful with money.
He stands for tradition, natural conservation, history and cultural values, which are all dear to me.
I hated him for a while, when rumors about his liaison with Camilla emerged. I faulted him for Diana's unhappiness and the break up of their marriage. Later on, I realized he was a mere victim of the "system", trapped into marrying a woman he did not love while loving another one. And also, comparing Diana's demeanor after the divorce with Charles', I think he came way on top.
That kind of sums it up.
