The story of love of this couple,is one of the most romantic ones,as they were both convinced not to marry and go to a convent.....they were made each one for the other,two religious persons,marvellous human beings,spiritual and exceptional ,who finally met and decided to marry In Lourdes,a saint place....

Indeed, the love between those two and their life story are

life together had to end much too early..

When King Baudouin passed away, I was very touched and wrote a condolence letter to HM Queen Fabiola. I was very lucky to receive a beautiful card, with the photo of the royal couple and a beautiful message in French. I also wrote to King Baudouin one day when he was still alive and I got a reply from the secretary of the King's Cabinet. I always admired their integrity, the amazing coherency they both had with their beliefs. King Baudouing had such a kindness and sweetness about him, indeed the ordeals he went throughout his lifetime did not turn him bitter or sad, he is unforgettable...
