I'm trying to trace our family tree.It disappears after the french revolution and doesn't surface again until my great grandmother.She was born in about 1860-1865 and married a man named Patrick Francis Mc Dermott.When we met her on her 100th birthday/family reunion she told the story of one of the daughters of Louie + Antoinette surviving the beheading of the rest of the family.We know the story is true because she showed all of us children the family "Carte Blanche" card as proof.I was only 13 years old at the time so I don't remember the whole story.My great grandfather was born in county mayo in 1865 if that's helps at all.Anybody out there who can help me?

I moved from the Rocky Mountains to the Scottish Highlands a couple of years ago. One of the upsides of this is access to books on the Victorian Era and the extended royal family. Shayne

I moved from Germany to Spain to study there. I wanted to stay for a year and go back to Germany. When my daughter was born I decided to stay in Spain. We are thinking about moving to Germany when my boyfriend has finnished his studies. Well, but we are not sure yet. I live in Catalunya for more then 3 years now and really got used to this place.
