Hi Raiyah_81 Its true the Circassians faced many difficulties whils in exhile from Circassia. Primarily because of the Crusades and the time of Empire. Fortunately enough the Last Khalifa The Ottomans, championed their cause and gave them refuge. To this day Turkey (The Ruling Center of the Ottoman Khalifa) is held in high regard and has become the heart of the Circassian Diaspora.

The significance of This Khalifate was that it was known to successfully fight wars on many fronts. A fete unparalleled even to this day. Moreover this System of governance, was that each religion within the Khalifa (Bhuddist, Christian, Jewish and Islamic) would be accountable by their respective religious laws. Also the innumerate cultures and languages were revered and their maintenance encourage by the Ottoman Khalifa. In addition it wasn't obligatory for non-Indigenous Ottomans to espouse the Ottoman language but their own was encouraged instead. Only Arabic was to be used in Official capacities, which was the case in Islamic Khulifa' (plural of Khalifa).
