I read recently that not many Australians are interested in Russian royal history. I think that there is a surprising number of Australians who are very interested in this subject.

What do you think?

The royal family was executed by the communists weren't they? Very sad. Sorry if my facts are incorrect but I don't know much.

I am interested in Russian Royalty. Love the jewels and beautiful palaces not to mention the links to other European royalty. There don't seem to be many websites discussing Russian royalty (must admit I haven't researched extensively). Am interested in any links you can send me though...thanks in advance!

Many years ago I learnt a bit about the Russian Royals in History, and loved it!
I would love to hear that the descendants of the last Tsar are to be "re-instated" and Russia to have a Royal Family again.
There seems to be a lot more money & real interest in Russia and its history now, your never know - it could happen ????

I think I am fairly obsessed with Russian Royal History and read everything I can get my hands on! The whole era and the characters from Alexander II up to the Revolution is fascinating to me (plus it is a lost world of the way people lived in those days, particularly wealthy people).

There never seems to be a lot of information to be had about Grand Duke Michael (murdered by the Bolsheviks) who takes my fancy(!) , and I would love to know more about his wife Natalie (Countess Brassova) and how she lived and what she did after Mikail died. I know she was in reduced circumstances in Paris after the Revolution...
