Family origin in France concerning ancestry to start things off. I started working on my family tree in November of 2008. The papers I had to start off with were put together by a doctor in Quebec but there was many errors in the spelling so it made things complecated. Then to make it harder it was all done in the French language. My grand-pa taught all his children the english language so we would not be called a dumb frenchman by the english as he was. When I war a child I tried to learn the french but I had a difficulw time as I was still tring to master the english. I listen to my elders speak the french but I just could not seem to master it. When the genealogy was handed to me I had a renewed determination to learn the French no matter how difficult it was for me. I started to make a web page and my brother signed up with Ancestry.com. I started to translate the words out of the french bible and over time it began to open up to me.
