The Royal Autograph

As an historian, as well as a lifetime autograph collector, I do realize that Royals are not film stars who upon exiting a function may stop to sign autographs for fans.

However, I have discovered that under certain circumstances some Royals will grant a signature. Some will respond to a letter. Others who might normally not sign are usually more willing when they are on book tours when their memoirs [or childrens' books] are published.

I am hoping that this group aside from sharing their experiences might feature an exchange of information. I am sure we could create a sort of etiquette different situations.

It might help some obtain that signature they've wanted. It could also save some from embarrassing situations.

I hope to hear from people who share my special interest soon! It would be great to learn the customs regarding autographs in many, many different countries.
