Thanks, cdm :flowers:

I was about to post the DM article as I thought we all needed a little laugh to relieve the Christmas stress.
Fortunately DM never disappoints!

:previous: They wouldn't be pants if Max didn't put a bow on them.

The DM should read my blog, because they literally have the same top in different colors: Royals With Similar Style The Crown Princess of...

Mary recently wore a similar Issa dress to Kate's engagement dress: Royals With Similar Style The Duchess of Cambridge...

Edouard Vermeulen from Natan on Mathilde and Maxima’s similar outfits:
Mathilde’s velvet trousers were Armani, Maxima’s outfit was all Natan.

Vermeulen advised Mathilde on her outfit. He didn’t know Maxima would wear the outfit now. She bought the blouse allready in September.

Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott wore a white Alexander McQueen (or good look alike) dress to Frederik's 50th birthday dinner in May and then Princess Claire of Luxembourg wore the same dress to the National Day dinner in June:

Royals With Similar Clothes Baroness Helle...

 But honestly though, Max is in a league of her own. It’s rare to find it, but she has that something where she can pull off exaggerated things that few other, if any at all, can pull off. While I don’t follow her as closely, I do adore her everytime I see her in something I would never in a million years thought I’d like.

Princess Akiko of Mikasa wore a blue dress with cutout yoke and sleeves previously worn by Princess Hanako (Princess Hitachi)

Princess Akiko has worn this dress twice in 2019: New Year's Poetry Reading in January and formal greetings for Emperor Akihito's 30-year reign on February 24.

I like the way Mary wears this much, much better. That's a lot of print, and it is swamping Maxima--not an easy thing to do, since she manages to carry off things that would be awful on other people.

Plus: the Duchess of Cambridge in a similar Erdem dress (print-wise) like one Princess Eugenie owns for some time now:

** The Duchess of Cambridge today ** Princess Eugenie April 2019 **

Eugenie's is much better. The length, and the lack of odd lacey bands in places, a lot less matronly looking.

This is the exact dress Duchess of Kent wore to the Sussex wedding.

Yep. You know a dress is matronly when :whistling:?

The Self Portrait dress looks much better on Catherine than on Sofia. It looks too tight on Sofia.

Sofia has a larger chest, that is the main difference I think.
