Queen Rania's Best Independence Day Dress: 1999-2013
Please vote for your favourite dress worn by Queen Rania at Jordan's Independence Day celebrations over the years.
Let us know which one you voted for and which were some of your other favourites.
- 1999 - here's the dress on a model, designed by Kumbaz, the Jordanian label that has made most of Rania's thoubs ever since she became Queen.
- 2000 - here QR is pregnant with Princess Salma
- 2001
- 2002 - a model wearing the thoub, designed by Kumbaz
- 2003
- 2004
- 2005
- 2006 a - QR wore this thoub during the daytime celebrations, it is embroidered in Arabic inscriptions; Princess Zein has a similar dress.
- 2006 b - this stunning thoub was worn at the evening reception hosted by the Jordanian PM
- 2007
- 2008
- 2009
- 2010
- 2011
- 2012 - This white thoub is almost exactly the same style as another one worn by Queen Rania in 2004 at the wedding of her husband's cousin Farah Daghestani (she also wore it again in 2006)
- 2013

2002, 2004, 2006, 2007 were simply the best
2008 was not a thoub but an evening dress by Zac Posen

My absolute favourite is the 2004 dress.... it's the most colourful independence day dress QR has worn. My second choice is the 2007 thoub because of its gorgeous embroidery. I'm curious about last year's navy blue gown. I'd love to know who designed it.

My favourites are 1999, 2007 and 2010. I love 2007 the best because of the beautiful colour, yellow. It looks stunning on her.

The first dress is the ugliest dress I've ever seen in my life (horrible dress). I like the ones she wears in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2006. I did not like the rest.

I liked most 2002, 2006b and 2001. My vote goes to 2002.
The worst imo are 1999, 2000, 2005 and 2008

My top five would probably be 2002, 2004, 2006a, 2006b, 2007.
2008 looks interesting but I don't know...
I love the color and the hair in 2010 just not the style.
The thoub from 2011 is nice but does not, IMO, suit Rania.

I've updated this poll with the following additions (also see opening post of this thread)
- 2012 - This white thoub is almost exactly the same style as another one worn by Queen Rania in 2004 at the wedding of her husband's cousin Farah Daghestani (she also wore it again in 2006)

Here are my favorites:
1. 2002
2. 2006 (second outfit)
3. 2007
4. 2013
5. 1999
6. 2000
I think the worst here is the dress in 2003.
