The WEF has announced that its Middle Eastern session will now take place in October instead of May (due to the recent situation in the region)

To shape and contribute to this process of change and innovation, the World Economic Forum on the Middle East will convene on 21-23 October at the Dead Sea, Jordan, facilitating an unprecedented Arab dialogue among all stakeholders from the region and internationally.
 
World Economic Forum to Convene at the Dead on 21st October 2011

Geneva, Switzerland, 3 October (Petra) – Under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the World Economic Forum will convene at the Dead Sea on 21-23 October.

The Special Meeting on Economic Growth and Job Creation in the Arab World will bring together over 800 participants from more than 50 countries, and will address an array of regional and international issues....
 
The Dead Sea, Oct. 22 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II said that dignity, economic opportunities, democracy and peace and justice are the gates to the future.


Addressing the opening session of the World Economic Forum at the Dead Sea shores, the King said entrepreneurs and innovators, educators and policymakers are desperately needed, not only to free people from today's economic hardships, but to clear a path to the 85-million new jobs that the region needs soon.

this year's coverage for the forum is that much ; for me , who is living here in Jordan I did not hear about without the King of Spain's arrival ...
BTW Rania looks so tired and older espically under her eyes !

You r right xavi... till now no video for the king`s speech. Maybe because of the Arab world Fast moving events .. today the death of the saudi crown prince.

Even with these little wrinkles (propably because of the sunlight, she doesn't wear sunglasses) one could easily believe she is 30 years old.
