Pity Princess Iman bint Abdullah was not in attendance, it would've been nice to see her. I thought Queen Rania looked good, very herself.

the lady on the left in the photo next to Queen Rania is Princess Basma Bint Talal, and the lady on the right is Taher al Masri's wife, Taher al Masri is now the head of the Senate! and the queen usually brings an important female member of society who has done work for the good of the country with her to there events!

Is there any way to access past parliament videos in recent years? Namely, the 2006 parliament opening? Many links on previous pages in this thread are now defunct. (I did happen to find the Dec 1 2004 Parliament Opening on C-Span online, though.)
