We've seen much worse. Duchess Camilla is relatively subdued compared to some of her previous flights of fashion fancy!

The Duke and the Duchess of Castro were among the guests at the wedding of Fabrizia Ruffo Di Calabria and Borja Benjumea de Soto in Como, Italy on June 9, 2012.

The Duke and the Duchess of Castro together with their lovely daughters posed for a large summer photo session last week.
As we've seen before Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara already are perfect models :)

The pics were made at the Reggia di Caserta Palace, royal residence of the Neapolitan Bourbons and a UNESCO heritage site in Caserta, Naples on June 22 and on the wonderful Italian island Capri on June 23 where Maria Carolina celebrated her 9th birthday.

Beautiful family and those pictures taken against the Capri seascape remind me of my own time there.

What a beautiful and royal family! Very nice pictures!
The Duke of Castro is very "Bourbon". He is a bit like his ancestor Louis XIV, the king of France.

The blue suit is nice but more appropriate for a younger woman IMO....

Very nice outfit for the Duchess of Castro but maybe a bit too "sexy" (especially the thong protruding from her tight pants) for a princess...

I wonder if Princesses Beatrice and Anne are close to the Duchess of Castro ?

The Duchess of Castro has attended the "A touch of Africa" gala in Monaco on September 29, 2012.

The Duchess of Castro attended the Royal Hunt at Grib Skov, Denmark, hosted by Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik today, November 26, 2012. I guess the Duke of Castro was there as well.

But in the very same article where he/she presented Prince Gaston of Orleans as the son of the Duke and Duchess of Castro, the journalist urged the readers to be careful and not to mix up the Duke of Castro with the "other" Carlo di Borbone aka the Duke of Parma...

Yes... and this was funny! The journalist was so "proud" of knowing that there are different Carlos that made mistake with children...

The Duke and Duchess of Castro attended the gala night following the 71st Formula One Grand Prix of Monaco on May 26, 2013.

it doesn't look like they will have a son so we may not see another Duke of Castro.

The Duke of Castro has 2 girls and the Prince of Venice has 2 girls only Aymone has sons. What will happen for the next generation ?

At the death of the Duke of Castro, his successor will most likely be his second cousin, Prince Franz or by Franz's son Prince Antoine.
Currently the heir presumptive to the Duke of Castro's claims is Prince Antoine, born in 1929, the eldest son of the late Prince Gabriel (the youngest brother of the Duke of Castro's grandfather). Given his old age, I expect that he won't actually succeed to the Duke of Castro, but rather his son or grandson will.

ETA: the current line of succession to the Castro claims is:

1- Prince Antoine, b. 1929, eldest son of the late Prince Gabriel (brother of Prince Ranieri, Duke of Castro);
2- Prince Franz, b. 1960, eldest son of Prince Antoine;
3- Prince Antoine, b. 2003, son of Prince Franz;
4- Prince Gennaro, b. 1966, second son of Prince Antoine;
5- Prince Casimir, b. 1938, younger son of Prince Gabriel;
6- Prince Luis, b. 1970, eldest son of Prince Casimir;
7- Prince Alexander, b. 1974, younger son of Prince Casimir; he is a priest.

I don't want to delve into the debate of the dynastic rights of Vittorio Emanuele and Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, which would also be very off topic here; however - even considering that Emanuele Filiberto has dynastic rights - the Salic law followed by the House of Savoy prevents his daughters from having succession rights; therefore the Headship of the Royal House will eventually go to Prince Aimone and his two sons Prince Umberto and Prince Amedeo.

The Duke and Duchess of Castro attended the 30th anniversary gala dinner of the Latin America Night in Monaco yesterday, July 20. Prince Albert of Monaco was present as well.
