Instead of glamming and strutting around in billionaire enclave Monte-Carlo, maybe the self-styled "Duke and Duchess of Calabria" could have add some weight to their unbearable lightness of being by doing Christmas charities in Calabria and Sicily indeed, where a lot people endure hard circumstances?

Think alone about the thousands and thousands of completely outlawed illegals from Africa who have crossed the Mediterrean Sea and live in unimagineable misery. "Doing charity" in all the glitter and gold of the gambler-palaces of the Société des Bains de Mer de Monte-Carlo is utterly laughable.

The Duchess of Castro did some charity work in Nice, France, yesterday evening, December 18. Together with the association "The guardian angels of Monaco" she handed out sponsored food to people in need near the church of the port of Nice:

I have not the first idea , but probably because she made contact with the association through her life in Monaco and this has simply been the latest action of the association..

Meanwhile the Duke of Castro, as a member of the Steering Committee of the Yacht Club of Monaco, attended the awards ceremony of the YCM-Trophée Credit Suisse 2017 and the induction ceremony for new members of the club. The event took place at the Yacht Club of Monaco yesterday evening, December 20, in presence of Prince Albert and Pierre Casiraghi:

Princess Maria Chiara will celebrate her 13th Birthday in Italian Dolomites.
