I suppose they married in Wijk Bij Duurstede, as it is the middle of the country and Princess Irene is living there? A pity that they didn' t release a picture.

Oh but they will release a picture,or some pictures, just not as fast as we would like...
Suppose Wijk bij Duurstede too yes,Princess Irene has her residence there.
So glad all is well again in the family, what was it again? To err is only human,to forgive is divine? It is.
The couple has also requested the press to respect their privacy as much as possible as both
Tjalling and Margarita wish/would love,to go on with their lives out of the spotlights.

As Her_Majesty said, discussion of weddings belongs in the Royal Weddings forum where possible. Now we've had some posts here to establish that the wedding is part of their ongoing lives, further discussion of the wedding should take place in the thread Her_Majesty linked to.

With all due respect dear Elspeth, you're a good shopkeeper, for the Royal Weddings thread that is.I'm sure you conferred with our own dutch mod before anyone decided were to discuss what. Not that there will be all that much more to say on this wedding, the couple has made it very clear they wish to live etc. as private persons.I do hope however that there isn't a Royal Births thread either so we have to go there to see their firstborn this august. If they ever might make a picture availeble that is.

Don't worry, dear Lucien; I know better than to try and walk out of the Dutch forum with a pocketful of posts without talking to the resident moderators first. You need a passport and visa to get past some of the border controls at TRF, let me tell you.

Reni van Maren has pictures of Princess Margarita, Tjalling ten Cate and their baby in a maxi-cosi arriving home. Look here.

By the way, is the maxi-cosi the infant car seat aka "baby bucket?"

Uhm, I am not too familiar with baby and baby things but with the maxi-cosi I meant the bucket that Tjalling was carrying, probably with the baby in it. I think you can also use these things in a car (not sure though). Maxi-cosi is the brand that is most commonly used over here I think.

I think she has her father's eyes, Margarita and Tjalling look a bit alike imo and their child looks like them.

HRH Princess Margarita, husband Tjalling ten Cate and Julia will move from Amsterdam to the Horsten Estate in Wassenaar, owned by HM.
The Horsten already is the home of Alexander and Maxima. The couple will move in an already existing house on the estate,as will cousin
Prince Floris and his family.A Royal Compound in Wassenaar.I think it is way better to grow up in a the environment the estate offers, and
also it is easyer from a security point of view. The couple moves in a building close to the Wassenaar area.

Will they have to pay for the house, or does Her Majesty grant them it for free?

HM owns it,so she can do whatever she pleases. But they bought a property on the grounds last year.
As a matter of fact HRH Princess Irene and Tjalling jointly purchased the property from HM

Who would have thought this in 2003? Princess Margarita safely married to a sane guy and living on the family estates. Good for her!
According to RTL the property is rather old, and needs a lot of reconstructing.

Princess Margarita does not get permission to change the walking paths close to her new house at the Horsten estate yet. A decision will be postponed until a commission has been on the estate:
